- Understand documentation requirements, funding sources, and ethical considerations in the recommendation and education of assistive tools.

- Demonstrate effective training techniques for patients and caregivers to ensure safe and proper use of adaptive and assistive equipment.

- Analyze case studies and apply clinical reasoning to select appropriate devices (considering off-the-shelf vs. custom options, cost, accessibility, and context-specific barriers.

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and integrate equipment into treatment planning, including home and environmental modifications, to enhance participation in meaningful occupations.
